BizEWorks believes strongly in the important role businesses and families have in the local community. It is for this reason, that the BizEHelps program was created. The goal of the BizEHelps, is to serve as a catalyst to community involvement for not just our members but for our site visitors as well. By organizing in kind giving, donations, and volunteers it allows the pooling of individual efforts from many different sources, thereby making it easier for the individual to give back without organizing the effort on their own; by working together we can create a better community for us all.
Each month, BizEWorks will work with one charity or organization. The goal is to bring attention to these great causes and to find a way to lend our support. Some of these organizations have provided assistance directly to our members in some capacity, and others are simply wonderful causes that have captured our hearts.

| March 2010 - Save the Family |

Save the Family assists children in homeless families by treating the whole family with programs to break the negative cycles of poverty, abuse, and homelessness. Their mission is to strengthen the Valley's communities by facilitating the transition of families to financial and emotional self-sufficiency. During the month of May, BizEHelps will be conducting a professional clothing drive for Save the Family. Help others by donating no longer needed items from your spring cleaning. In April, BizEHelps will be holding a yard sale with the proceeds benefitting the UMC Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. With state budget cuts, your help is needed in to help provide items such as rockers, mobiles and other items for the wonderful babies this unit serves. |

| HopeKids provides ongoing events & activities and a powerful, unique support community for children with cancer and other life-threatening medical conditions. BizEWorks will be partnering with HopeKids to produce a special day of pampering and fun for the mothers and daughters in this program. |

| June 2010 - Arizona Princess Project |
|
The ongoing mission of the Arizona Princess Program – to give teenage foster girls an evening that celebrates how truly wonderful they are inside and out. With the help of the local business community, the girls are pampered with formal dresses, shoes, jewelry and professional makeup assistance. Following the makeover, the girls are treated with a five-course meal and an evening of dancing. BizEHelps will be conducting a formal dress drive for this great organization. ICAN Chandler is an organization that provides free, comprehensive out-of-school time programs that empower youth to be productive, self-confident and responsible citizens. BizeHelps will be conducting a donation drive for items used for afterschool art and sports activities. Items needed are: construction paper, pencils, pencil sharpeners (electric and hand), markers, printing paper, glue, crayons, backpacks, balls for sports activities and hula hoops. | The Arizona Down Syndrome Network helps to educate families and the community about Down Syndrome and the resources available to provide a better quality of life. October is Down Syndrome awareness month, and BizEWorks will help this organization by donating supplies for the STEP UP for Downs Syndrome.
